Classes run every Tuesday from 7:00-10:00 pm, Jan 24th-Feb 28th at the Arts Centre (corner of 4th Ave and Borland)
Two “free time” Saturdays with guild members available to help: Feb 4th and Feb 11th, 10-1:00 pm
All materials supplied (clay, glaze, tools)
Class content includes: Wheel work (centering, throwing / cylinder, pots, lids / handles) Handbuilding (pinch pots, coil building, slab building, sculpture) and Glazing
Classes are taught by experienced Cariboo Potter’s guild members
Should you wish to join the guild following classes, all class participants receive $10 off membership to the Cariboo Potter’s Guild (Regularily $50 per year for membership and $25 per year studio fee) The studio fee is for access to guild wheels, tools, and glaze. Guild members can also pay a small fee to have their work fired in the guild kiln.
This is a fun chance for total beginners or individuals with some experience to get together and enjoy learning the art of clay. It doesn’t matter if you have taken the classes before- there are always new things to learn!
